Founder
Owner & Managing Director, TCC Plus — Istanbul
For more than twenty-five years, Ayşe Sarp Gür has worked in communications — and for most of them, at the head of her own consultancy. She owns and runs TCC Plus, leading communication strategy, public relations and event marketing, client counsel and new business herself.
Her career began in broadcast and publishing rather than in agencies: news reporter at Kanal 6, translator at Marie Claire Türkiye, then deputy general manager at both ABC Productions and Star TV — before integrated marketing communications became her discipline. She started out as a junior account executive at Pen Ajans DMB&B, and in 2014 co-founded the International Training Academy.
That mix — newsroom instincts, brand work and institutional programmes — is what TCC Plus was built on: fewer engagements, senior counsel throughout, closer to a strategy consultancy than a press office. Today her practice centres on sustainability communication: helping leadership teams communicate ESG commitments credibly — rigorous about evidence, honest about trade-offs, free of greenwash.
A graduate of Istanbul University, she wrote a column on cinema for five years across four magazines, among them MediaCat and Marketing Türkiye. She went into communications following her older sister, a journalist — and still credits curiosity, and asking better questions, for most of what followed.
