Your employees are your most quoted spokespeople. We explain why every external sustainability claim should be briefed internally first.

Every employee with a social account is a publishing channel, and audiences treat workforce voices as more honest than official ones. When an external claim surprises the people who do the actual work, the correction is public and swift — and it sticks, because it comes from the inside.
We therefore sequence sustainability announcements inside-out: employees hear the claim, its evidence and its limits before the press release goes out. Not as a courtesy — as quality control. If the claim does not survive the workforce’s scrutiny, it was not ready.
The goal of internal sustainability communication is not to hand staff approved wording — audiences detect scripted advocacy instantly. It is to give them true, specific things they can say in their own words: what changed on their line, in their building, in their supply chain.
A workforce that can describe real change is the most credible communication asset an organisation owns. No campaign outperforms it.
If your own people would not repeat the claim unprompted, the public will not believe it either.
